Headings and subheadings

  • Heading 1 is reserved for page titles.

    Heading 1

  • Headings 2-6 may be used at author discretion.

    Heading 2

    Heading 4

    Heading 5
    Heading 6
  • Horizontal dividers may be used sparingly.
  • Typeface should be default sans-serif.
  • No other styles, such as italics or bolding, should be applied.
  • No other colors, other than black, should be applied.
  • Colons are unnecessary.

Heading 2:

Body text

  • If text is cut and pasted from another source, it should be pasted as unformatted text. It can then be altered within the WordPress text editor.
  • Text should never be underlined. Bold and italics may be used for emphasis.
  • However, bolding should not take the place of structural subheadings.
